Another great album, consistent with their last couple of efforts. If you like good, old school Metal - then there's nowt wrong with this.
Highly recommended if you simply want metal as it should be!

Yet again Lemmy & Co. have come up with the goods, this is a good solid Motorhead album, tracks like Rock Out , Runaround Man and One Short Life will instantly have your head nodding and your feet tapping until before you know it the floor is bouncing and the neighbours cat seems to have had some kind of seizure. The bluesy riffs are there a plenty with the perfectly titled "Teach you how to sing the blues" and the whole album builds up to the absolutely amazing "The Thousand Names of God". This album is definitly worth buying, although its not quite as good as some of their past albums this is in the top 5 without a doubt.
up there with inferno and kiss of death

Motorizer shows you can teach an old dog new tricks as in Lemmy's case shows he still has the "snarls like a dog on rabies" bark combined with the riffage of Phil and Mikkey dee's face melting drumming that takes place on "Teach you how to sing the blues" which is reminescent of Lemmy revisiting his youth with its hedonistic swagger and bile which carries on in tremendous bible obliterating manner on "English Rose" and "Back on the chain" while Lemmy like the track from the kiss of death album "God was never on yourside" he can afford to be sentimental without losing his edge on "Heroes" which we can imagine is either for the boys in Iraq or Afganistan or is mainly for the working class either way its a sort of fitting tribute to any heroe Lemmy is thinking.
overall a superb album to match Motorheads twenty first century efforts in inferno and kiss of death!
