Only track I enjoyed was Radiohead the rest sounded like background music in a motel. My advice spend your money elsewhere.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars It WAS bought for my dad!

It was an intended present for my dads birthday however it has somehow got its way into my car and i constantly listen to it. In my opinion not being a big fan of this type of music but i really enjoy this album. Almost every song has me tapping my foot along with it or having me hide my poor singing from the nearby cars in the morning traffic. For the price it is now it is definitely worth getting!

The track list is OK not great. I didn't recognise some of them so hoped to find some new gems, but nothing. However, that I could live with but the production is terrible. Sounds like the Ministry Of Sound played through a railway PA system.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Good Songs, Poor Mix

Great selection of songs on here, nice to see the likes of Molokos, Fun For Me and Smoke citys, Underwater Love. One niggle though is that the mixing is appalling. Why join the tracks and make zero effort mixing them?

How many more best of compilations are we going to see from ministry of sound. I have 2 chilled albums now and all they have done is move tracks from them added a few older dance songs and sold it again. The first cd i good but after that they struggle to find the quality and i got bored after disc 2.

I was pleased to see The Orb on there and Leftfield those 2 songs i have never seen on a compilation and takes me back to my school days that was when dance music was developing in the early 90's. The Back to the old skool mixes were good but they should do an Early 90's Chillout on it's own with Papua New Guinea added. Im sorry to say but Dance is in a steady decline and when they add new stuff to the old stuff it dosn't mix too well. Please redo a chillout for the 90's only. That was when Dance was at it's peak.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Some good songs....

A word to those who judged this on the advert. Book and cover sound familiar? This CD does exactly what it suggests. It is chilled out tunes through and through. Yes I agree there are one or two that may not be up there with the best, but this is the exception rather than the rule, there are some pure gems on this compilation and because of the order even the weaker tracks are smoothed out so within the mix they have their place and sound just fine. This is the first such CD I have bought and I would recommend it to anyone who just wants some calming background music. Which is exactly what you buy it for. Standout tracks for me are the excellent Moments in love by Art of noise, Little fluffy clouds by The Orb and the Moonwatchers mix of Greece 2000 is breathtaking. Seriously if you want to chill get it now?

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Great

This should be called frozen because its that slow. This album is perfect for when you just need some kind of noise in the background for when you are holding a cheese and red wine evening with some clients in your luxury penthouse flat. OK this album has a few classics tunes (Sebastien Tellier - La Ritournelle, Jamiroquai - Corner Of The Earth , Deepest Blue - Deepest Blue (Jon Hopkins Mix)) but the majority doesn't hold much to enjoy, I know it's 'chilled' but this is just plain boring. One more thing, I wish they would leave DJ Sammy & Yanou Feat. Do - Heaven - Candlelight Mix on the love albums or something!
