Doctor Who has become so poor as of late. The main culprit being Russell T Davies! I dont watch Doctor Who these days with excitement and anticipation.....i sit and wait for the moments that make me cringe. The entire series was ruined by Catherine Tate and her lack of abilty to act. I always got the impression that the Daleks were evil creatures that were extremely difficult to destroy...but obviously not. Christopher Eccleston's performance in 'Dalek' was how it should of been done. You got the impression that the Daleks really were evil and powerful. Overall this has to be the worst of all the Doctor Who DVD's to have been released!

Customer rating: 2 out of 5 stars Sigh

More proof, if it were needed, that Dr Who has lost much of it's universal appeal and is now just one for the kids.
How did the Daleks ever manage to beat the time lords, i Know their plans have always been a bit on the suspect side but really come on. I suppose it must be in the "beat the Dalek handbook", just randomly wack a few keys in the basement of their space ship and bang their defeated..And just how much more stuff is going to drop out of this supposedly locked time war? And why is it only the bad guys that make it out (with the noticable exception of his doctorness of course?) Still hearing the Daleks speak in German was cool but apart from that the soap opera this has become is getting tedious..Since when did the Doctors companions care about the people they left behind "Oh my Mum, my grandad, my mortgage", whats next "I miss my cat, i think i left the gas on"
