Jack's back!
Season 6 picks up 20 months after last season's shocking season finale, when Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) was captured by Chinese government agents - battered, bloodied and header for points unknown. Wayne Palmer (DB Woodside) is now the President of the United States. After a series of horrific terrorist attacks, Palmer and his team of advisors begin an unthinkable nail-biting day.

a lot of reviewers have slated this season. the thing i love about 24 is its never afraid to enter new territory. in season six it does just that. not only does jack bauer have to face his inner deamons. he also have to take on his own family and have to come to terms with what his girlfreind has sacraficed to rescue him. give me more if all drama today was like this id be glued to the tv instead of NEVER WATCHING IT. ROLL ON SEASON SEVEN
Great Season.... buy it!

I disagree with the reviews that have gone before, although there is some deja vu it is inevitable seeing as its a counter terrorist unit and the main character is working for them! The series starts with a bang! and the pace of the show is good and keeps the viewer hooked. It is slower in pace than other series but this doesn't take away from the action that fans come to love. All I can say is bring on Series 7!
Not the best, but still a great season.

Once again, jack is launched into another hectic 24 hours to catch a group of terrorists who threaten the US. There is a strong feeling of déjà vous in this season, the story is in many ways just too similar to the previous season, and it also lacks the edge of your seat tension that previous seasons had. Having said that, it concludes the main story half a dozen episodes before the end to pursue another storyline that neatly brings conclusion to the "outstanding" issues in Jack's life, which at least breaks the similarity with previous seasons. It's not as fast and edgy, but it's still a great show, and well worth the almost giveaway price that it's selling for a the moment.
